UNIBOARD® EXPANDS ECC CERTIFICATION ON ITS VALUE ADDED PRODUCTS
Laval (Québec) - October 18, 2012 - UNIBOARD, a North American leader of manufactured engineered wood products, was recently accepted to the ECCTM (Eco-Certified Composite) certification program for value-added products. Last April, the Val-d'Or, Sayabec and Mont-Laurier mills satisfied the requirements of this new certification program introduced last spring by the Composite Panel Association (CPA) for particleboard and MDF panels.

KAYCAN® FINALIZES THE ACQUISITION OF UNIBOARD® CANADA INC.
Laval, Quebec, October 1, 2012 – Kaycan® Ltd., a North American leader in vinyl, aluminum and engineered wood siding, trim and aluminum building products, announced today that it has successfully finalized its acquisition of Uniboard® Canada Inc., a leader in engineered wood products. Kaycan had previously entered into an all cash for shares deal with Uniboard’s parent company Pfleiderer Canada Inc. on September 5, 2012.
