UNIBOARDTM TO LAUNCH ITS NEW MDF, NU GREEN® MR50 NAF AT THE IWF IN ATLANTA
Laval (Québec) – August 14, 2012 - UNIBOARD®, a North American leader of manufactured engineered wood products, will officially introduce its NU Green® MR50 NAF MDF at the 2012 International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta. This product is clearly your alternative to Medex®.
NU Green® MR50 is a high-quality moisture resistant MDF recommended where periodic humidity exposure is a factor. Perfect for kitchens and bathrooms, as well as commercial applications such as food service industries, institutional buildings and healthcare establishments, this versatile and environmentally-friendly MDF is now available raw or as a value-added (TFM) product.
This green product is manufactured using a process whereby no formaldehyde is added resulting in a product that exceeds CARB Phase 2 standards. The NU Green® MR50 MDF is NAF (No Added Formaldehyde), FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and ECCTM certified (Eco-Certified Composite by the Composite Panel Association [CPA]), contains 100% recycled and recovered wood pre-consumer fibres and can help you achieve up to 6 LEED® points.
Uniboard® will also be launching two new TFM finishes: RIOTM and High Gloss and four new melamine colors: Fresco (R60), Carnaval (R61), Amazona (R62), Samba (R63).
Uniboard® continues to set the standard in North American design and melamine surface finishes and will be exhibiting at the 2012 IWF in Atlanta, Georgia this August 22-25 at Booth 2437.
