UNIBOARD®’S VAL-D’OR MILL CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF SUCCESS
Laval, Quebec – October 13, 2017 – On October 13, 1977 Uniboard Val-D’Or produced its first panel. Since that time, it has become one of North America’s leading particleboard and thermally fused laminate (TFL) facilities. Located near and integrated with Uniboard’s Unires resin facility, the Val-d’Or facility is geographically positioned in one of North America’s richest sources of wood fiber. Uniboard Val-d’Or’s particleboard has set the standard for its pale coloring, light weight and outstanding physical properties. Paired with Uniboard’s leading TFL design collection, the particleboard offers leading edge solutions for kitchen, office and residential furniture as well as renovation and store fixture applications.

Uniboard celebrated Val-d’Or’s first 40 years with the community at an open house in September with over 300 visitors coming through the facility and seeing the latest improvements as well as Uniboard’s newest products.
